What’s On: Collectables Galore!

Antique furniture, silverware, books, crystal and china are just a few of the items on display at this year's annual Rotary Club of Otumoetai Antique Fair.

The fair, in its 31st year in Tauranga, is expected to attract more than 800 people to Baycourt Exhibition Hall and raise over $5000 for charity.

The funds raised usually go towards local charities, but the decision was made this year to pour the money into the Christchurch earthquake relief fund, says convenor Geoff Barlow.

'It's such a big need there, you can't look past it really,” says Geoff.

The Rotary Club of Otumoetai Antique Fair is on this weekend, from 9am-5pm Saturday and 9am-4pm Sunday at the Baycourt Exhibition Hall in Tauranga. Entrance is $5.
