The Salvation Army is looking for Tauranga families to complete their survey in order to help the community more effectively.
Community ministries manager Davina Plummer says the survey is largely interested in families and how the Salvation Army can better support local whānau.

'We'd like to know more about our families in Tauranga and what it is that their families need help and support with,” she says.
'We find it's much easier to raise a child the right way than it is to fix broken adults.”
The quiz, which can be completed online or in paper form, asks participants how families are made up, what community ministries people would be interested in.
Davina says anonymity is an option when completing the quiz, but there is a family prize basket up for grabs those who sign their names.
'We understand that it can be hard for people to seek help, so it's a lot easier for people to fill in a survey in the comfort of their own home than it is to necessarily come into our offices and to just say ‘help'.”
The survey will close on March 31.
