Hole-in-one could win big

The simple act of getting a hole-in-one is how Tauranga Boys' College is hoping to raise funds for a trip to South America – with a very pleasing incentive.
On winning the hole-in-one there are two prizes of either a 2011 Jeep Renegade or a 2011 Subaru WRX, valued at $50,000.

The hole-in-one competition runs from March 25 to March 27 at Tauranga Boys' College field. Qualify to move to the finals by hitting a golf ball down the 125m stretch into the 1.5m ‘qualification circle'.
Tauranga Boys' College students are also able to compete under the same rules on Thursday and Friday, with the prize on offer being an iPad.
All money raised is going towards the Tauranga Boys' College South American Tour Group. Four teams from tennis, volleyball, rugby and hockey are heading over to compete in October, starting in Santiago and moving through the country to finish at Buenos Aires.
