Buses operating from new shelter

The new bus shelter on Willow Street is complete and Bay Hopper buses are now operating from it outside the Tauranga City Council and art gallery buildings.

The new bus stop on Willow Street.

They began operating from this permanent location today.

All regional bus services to Katikati, Rotorua, Te Puke, Omokoroa, Whakatane as well as Intercity, Newmans, Naked Bus and all charter, tour and cruise ship buses are continuing to operate from Wharf Street.

Signage directing people to the new bus stops is in place and information is available on affected buses, at the iSite, on the corner of Wharf and Willow Streets and at the city council's customer service centre on Willow Street.

Looks to me that the the rort of ratepayers again has been completed on this case, despite recommendations of the piers in view and the last minute addition of this site the least acceptable to all progresses regardless of common sense, economics or anything else for that matter.
