A Cyclists has been injured in a collision with a car on the intersection of Devonport Road and Seventh Avenue.
A cyclist has been taken to hospital
Police diverted traffic around the scene until ambulance staff arrived. The accident happened shortly after 4pm. Traffic into the city is being diverted onto Cameron Road while the scene was cleared and police interviewed witnesses.
The cyclist has been taken to Tauranga hospital.

In highschool, drives just go right through stop signs, same intersection both times. Each time, the driver stopped to see if I was OK then scarpered without leaving any details for police.
