Boaties at the Bridge Marina are used to things berthing at the pier. But they had an extra surprise marine visitor yesterday.

Like the Otis Redding song says 'Sitting on the dock of the bay wasting time”, this male seal did exactly that.

Resting on Dock G, the seal obviously was enjoying the fantastic Bay weather like so many of our visitors.

If our marine friend should turn up again today, don't hesitate to post pictures of him on our Facebook page.

Also remember seals are wild animals so don't approach or feed him or get between him or the water.
