'During the incident, which happened on a farm, the woman sustained a severe impact from the bull resulting in head injuries,” says a rescue helicopter spokesperson.

'The St John flight crew spent some time assisting the 35-year-old local woman before she was airlifted to Waikato Hospital.

The woman was one of two people to be injured by animals today.

A 14-year-old girl was attacked by a dog in Kaikohe around 10.15am and had to be taken to Whangarei Base Hospital with moderate injuries.

Far North District Council general manager Jacqueline Robson says she did not know what kind of dog was involved but said the animal remained on site with the victim.

An animal control officer was on site and the dog had been seized.

Yes I wonder if the will seize the bull, and take the owner to court? Destroy the animal? WHY? For being an animal? Acting as nature designs? No the DOG will die, and the bull will live...to breed...and then he will be slaughtered for humans to eat...oh the irony.
