‘Marjorie'( nee Ferris )

Passed away peacefully with whanau at her side Friday 20 November 2015, aged 94 years, after a courageous battle. Dearly loved wife and best friend of the late Te Keepa, for 71 years. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter (deceased) and Lovinia, Patariki and Bernie (deceased), Lynda and Grant, Wharepi, Rehua and Violet, Prince and Carol. Much adored Grandmother of Tina, Ian, Lee, Marjorie, Pene, Olivia, Blair, Keepa, Wiremu, Kylie, Seetha, Rehua, Edwin, Sophie and Maui, and loved Great Grandmother of her many mokopuna tuarua. A Tangihanga to celebrate Merekotuku's life will be held at Te Whetu o te Rangi Marae, 612 Welcome Bay Rd, Tauranga from 9am Saturday 21^st November through to Monday 23^rd, ending with a service at 11.00am followed by burial at Tahuwhakatiki Urupa.
