After being knocked down several times and receiving broken ribs, Taylor came back and won the bout by Technical Knockout in the twelfth round.

Anthony's opponent is a 35-year-old Australian boxer Michael Katsidis. Michael is a well credentialed boxer who has many achievements in his career from representing Australia in the 2000 Summer Olympics to winning multiple world titles.

Michael won his first major world title in 2007 against Graham Earl for the interim WBO World lightweight title. He won his second major world title in 2009 against Vicente Escobedo for the same title.

This will be the second attempted for Michael to capture the WBU Super lightweight Title. Michael won the first attempt last year against Graham, however later vacated the title due to not defending the title.

Anthony's team originally planned to try get a fight against IBO Asia Pacific Champion and Hamilton local Cairo George. But the boxer declined the offer.

The event will be held at the Trust Arena Auckalnd on April 16 next year and will feature nine pro bouts and three corporate bouts. Tickets can be purchased by calling 0800 289 849.
