What's on today: international hockey

Tauranga hockey fans can see some top class action when the Malaysia Airlines Summer Series comes to the city this weekend.

The Black Sticks men are up against Korea today and tomorrow at the Tauranga Hockey Centre at 3pm.

Gates open at noon and the New Zealand Maori team will take on a Midlands selection team at 12.30pm in a curtain raiser prior to these matches.

Black Sticks men coach Shane McLeod says Tauranga players Andy Hayward and Steven Graham, are especially looking forward to the matches in Tauranga on their own home turf.
