On Thursday 24th September 2015, at home surrounded by his loving family, aged 86. Loved former husband of Frances. Dearly loved Grandad of Brodie and Vicky, Lanae, Zoe and Aaran: Alicia, Rozelle and Jason, Rick and Tracey: Elyse, Tom: Nick, Renée, Steven: Danian, Jenna: Bradley, Sherri: Stacey and Anthony, Shane and Amy. Loved Great Grandad of Danny, Jordan, Beau, Sophie, Ricci, Maddison and Ruby.
Our family chain has been broken. Our big Kauri has gone. Dad, you have left us with a beautiful legacy and we will continue it for you. Give it all you got Dad, like you did down here. Happy fishing and golfing. Don't work too hard picking tangelos, there is always tomorrow. Love and miss you already, Dad.
A funeral service for Toppy will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services Ltd, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Tuesday 29th September at 11am followed by burial in the New Lawn Memorial section of Hillcrest Cemetery. Messages please to the Van Den Top family c/- PO Box 2033, Kopeopeo.
