Police are investigating the cause of a crash which saw a vehicle collide with a lamp post in Welcome Bay this afternoon.
A reporter at the scene on Victory Road says there doesn't appear to be any injuries but there is a significant amount of damage.

'It looks like the vehicle has hit a sign post before hitting the light pole.”
No other vehicles are reported to have been involved in the crash.

its about time all these lamposts were banned too many of them are jumping out onto the road
