(Dora), nee Hodges, formerly of Dunedin and Whanagaparaoa, in her 93rd year; peacefully, surrounded by her family at Somervale Hospital, Mt Maunganui. Much loved wife of the late Gordon. Loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother of Lesney and Alan Jones, (Papamoa), Lindsay and Helen David (Brisbane), Pamela and Malcolm Harding (Ngaruawahia). Loved Nana of Mark, Jane and Zachary (Auckland); Claire, Martin and Emily (London); Gareth and Erin (Brisbane); William and Christopher (Auckland). Sister of Elsie Blythe (Auckland), Harold and Agnes (Dunedin) and Grace Simpson (Dunedin). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. 'Love many, trust few and always paddle your own canoe!” There will be a Memorial Service for Dora at the Silverdale and Districts RSA, 43A Vipond Road, Whangaparaoa, Sunday 24 May at 11.00am.
