Commending the catering

Re: ‘Great stay, bad meals' (The Weekend Sun, April 24). I wish to reply to E Izett as their experience at Tauranga Hospital was different to mine.
I too have just had a few days' stay in Tauranga Hospital and apparently the same ward and would point out this hospital strives to offer a five-star service but not expected to be a five-star restaurant.
Yes, the level of nursing I received was the very best and absolutely nothing was ever a bother to them.
However, I wish to commend their catering services because meals were punctual and reasonably hot where applicable. There was a choice of at least three menus each meal and a chance to indicate small, medium or large. I commend the BOPDHB for supplying good quality and good sized meals.
