Taranaki Police can now release the name of the woman found dead at her Stratford property on January 30, 2015.
She was Gwendoline Blake, aged 71, of Stratford.
A post mortem is being conducted this morning.
The scene examination at the residential property is ongoing and is likely to be completed in the next 24 hours.
