UPDATE: Pyes Pa Road is open again after a truck jackknifed, blocking one lane, this morning.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says it appeared to have been a B-train truck which has jackknifed on Pyes Pa Road, just past Pyes Pa School.
The truck blocked the Tauranga-bound lane of the road, but the road is now open.
Earlier:
Police are at the scene and working to remove the truck.
Firefighters are also at the scene and are assisting with traffic control.
There are no reports of injuries.
