Enjoy the outdoors today at the Bay of Plenty Sports and Cultural Club Annual Event at Greerton Park, Oropi Road Tauranga.
The fun community day will feature a soccer tournament and volleyball tournament - form a team and come along. There's also athletics events for the kids.
The day will also feature a women's Kabaddi exhibition match at midday. Kabaddi is a team sport where athletes have to cross a centre line and touch the opposing players and return on one breath.
Sunshine expected today. Picture: supplied.
To show there's no in-breath they have to say ‘kabaddi, kabaddi, kabaddi…' while in the opposing half.
There's a Leggo plane exhibitions at Classic Flyers at 2pm
