Papamoa scores hockey title

A crop of Papamoa Primary School hockey players have flicked their way to success in a Western Bay of Plenty wide competition.

The Papamoa Year 5 (Mount Cluster) side took out the WBOP 7's Hockey Tournament at the Tauranga Hockey Centre this week in a busy day of sporting action.

At total of 56 teams took part in the seven aside competition, marking the end of the sport heading into the school holidays.
