Passed away peacefully at Waipuna Hospice surrounded by family on August 20, 2014 aged 80 years. Loved brother and brother in law of Reg and Ann (Petone), Jean (Hamilton), Alan and Isabel (deceased) (Te Puke), Henry (Australia), Effie and Henk (Hastings), Bruce (Hastings). Former husband of Alison (Waikino). Loved by his many nieces and nephews. A service for John will be held at the Te Puna Community Centre, Tangitu Rd, Te Puna on Tuesday 26th August at 11am.
