The suspicious sight of two young men carrying suitcases in Papamoa yesterday resulted in a phone call to police and their arrest on burglary charges.
Tauranga Police senior sergeant Shannon Clifford is today applauding the action of the member of the public who acted on their instincts and contacted police.
The person saw two young men wearing black, walking through a Papamoa park carrying suitcases, says Shannon.
'Police attended and located the two. In the suitcases was stolen property, and they made an admission to a burglary in the vicinity.”
A 19-year-old and a 17-year-old are to appear in Tauranga District Court today charged with the burglary of a Longview Drive home.

Pretty amazing when the best evidence in the case against them is in the case itself? LOL. Considering teens think they know everything, it is amazing that they don't seem to be getting any smarter? At least they were off the play station for a while tho, that is a good sign. Usually the only thing getting teens off the play station is when they take a Wii break?
