A 35-year-old man is in Waikato Hospital after falling from his horse.

The Waikato-Westpac rescue helicopter was called to Matamata early Monday morning to transport the man to hospital.
He suffered a pelvic injury in the fall and was accompanied by his partner for evaluation and treatment.
