Car falls down bank in Greerton

A car has fallen down a bank on SH29 near Barkes corner in Greerton.

A person is believed to have been cut free from the vehicle and was stretchered to the ambulance.

It is believed a person was trapped inside the vehicle and is reported to have been cut free. A SunLive reporter at the scene says the car has fallen about 10 metres down a grass bank.

The cause of the accident is unknown. Emergency services including police, fire, ambulance and paramedics have been called to the scene.

One lane leading into Barkes Corner is partially bloked and police are controlling traffic flow.

Traffic is being diverted around the scene.
