The Tauranga Half Marathon proved a success with more than 600 participants taking part in the event this morning.
Competitors took part in either a half marathon, quarter marathon or a 5km event.

Starting off from Fergusson Park, competitors follow a course along the road into the CBD, down Willow Street to Grey Street and back.
Organisers say the weather was perfect and the event was a great one for Tauranga.
