You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout, I'm telling you why – it's Saturday and Santa Claus is coming to Tauranga.
There is a chance of an afternoon shower today, but otherwise the weather's looking perfect for the Trustpower Santa Parade, or if a beer and some good tunes is more your thing, then head down to Brew on The Strand for solo acoustic guitarist and singer Waylon McPherson.
The annual parade heralds the start of the Christmas season and will feature colourful community floats, lively bands, marching teams, acrobatic groups and lots of colourful characters.
The parade gets its procession on at 11am and will start from 2nd Ave, march down Devonport Road and along The Strand before finishing at Harrington Street.
And afterwards, parents can not take the little ones down to the waterfront for some fun and rides with The Little Entertainment Company.
SunLive has also caught wind that supervillain, The Joker is in town and is plotting to blow up Santa! Zoinks!
Will the Clown Prince of Crime get away with his dastardly fiendish plot? Will Batman arrive to save the day? Will this year's Santa parade be the best one yet? Tune in to SunLive from 11am. Ka-pow!
While later today at Brew Craft Beer Pub on The Strand, solo-performer Waylon McPherson will be entertaining the crowd with a ton of great tunes.
Playing popular music and hits from an array of bands, Waylon covers a huge variety of classics from artists like U2, Elvis, The Beatles, Kings of Leon and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jack Johnson, Van Morrison, Muse, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, Train, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, CCR and many more.
Waylon takes to the stage at Brew from 5pm to 8pm. For more information visit his Facebook page.
