Fun for all under one roof

'So much to do under one roof,” is how a Tauranga parent describes Motion Entertainment's largest indoor entertainment centre.

The 6,085m² complex in Rotorua opened its doors to the public on Saturday, but Doug Britton and his three daughters got a sneak peak on Friday night.

'So much to do under one roof you will be spoilt for choice,” says Doug.

'There is Ten Pin, Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Chipmunks, Trampoline Park and fully licensed bistro.

'The first thing Lyla, 9, said when leaving was ‘Can we come back again tomorrow'.”

Doug says he would recommend the venue to any family or group.

Developer and Holmes Group managing director Ryan Holmes, says Motion Entertainment is a great addition to the attractions on offer in Rotorua and the venue is expected to attract 200,000 domestic and international visitors a year.

'Motion Entertainment will have an outstanding range of 8 interactive activities filling a niche gap in the market for an all-weather attraction that caters to all age groups.

'It's been a long time in the planning, and has taken almost a year to build and fit-out, so we're thrilled to be opening the doors!”

Motion Entertainment is the first stage of the $13 million Lynmore Junction development on the city's eastern arterial route (Te Ngae Rd/SH30).

Lynmore Junction will eventually cover 2.7ha and will feature 10-15 convenience retail stores including a BP petrol station and 250 car parks.
