Two men have been arrested following the robbery of Greerton Liquor on Friday.
Tauranga Crime Squad detective sergeant Paul Barron says the men, aged 19 and 35, will be charged with theft and assault and the matter is now before the courts.
'The quick identification of the alleged offenders and their apprehension was the result of some outstanding work by local police.”
Both police an ambulance staff were dispatched to Greerton Liquor on Cameron Roadfollowing the robbery which occurred at about 2.30pm.
