Vodafone users are being warned to expect a planned outage on Friday morning.
The mobile network will be carrying a network upgrade between 1am and 6am.

It's expected to affect users in Te Ranga South, Aongatete, Katikati, Welcome Bay, Maketu and Oropi.
'2G, 3G and 4G customers in the Bay of Plenty area will experience 1 x 90 minutes and 1 x 20 break in service, during the outage,” says a statement from Vodafone.

To have an outage, first you need coverage. We have no usable coverage from vodafone here in matua, so this outage won't worry us too much.

If it uses the Vodaphone network then yes. If it does not then no. Simple.
