Lotto: Tauranga ticket wins $30K

A Lotto ticket bought in Tauranga is worth $32,140 after taking a share of last night's Second Division.

The ticket was one of eight tickets from around the country who shared the prize. The winning Tauranga ticket was purchased at Pak n Save in Tauranga.

A Tokoroa ticket also snared the Powerball Second Division taking their total winnings to $38,881. The ticket was sold at Paper Plus Tokoroa.

Lotto players in Paraparaumu, Wellington and Alexandra will be celebrating after winning $333,333 each with Lotto First Division in tonight's live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at New World Kapiti in Paraparaumu, Kirby's Candies and Lotto in Wellington and Paper Plus Alexandra in Alexandra.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $8.5 million.

Strike Four also rolled over tonight and will be worth $300,000 for Wednesday night's draw.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
