One person had to be removed from the second storey of a building site in Pyes Pa after they slipped and fell.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Gyle Place after midday today.
Northern Fire Communications shift manager Dallas Ramsay says fire crews from Tauranga and Mount Maunganui fire brigades assisted St John Ambulance with a stokes basket to remove a person from the building.
'The person had slipped and we were required to assist ambulance to extricate the patient from a second storey of a building site.”
