Poilce happy with rugby crowds

Wellington based Police staff were pleased with the overall behaviour of the crowds that poured into 'The Cake Tin' and CBD last night.

Police say there was a full house at the final and the crowd were in good spirits, with only a few minor alcohol related issues and two minor arrests.

The positive atmosphere shifted to the streets after the match with many happy supporters of both sides out amongst the crowd.

A handful of arrests were made for minor offences but overall revellers acted responsibly, requiring minimal intervention from local Police and the additional Royal New Zealand Police College recruits who were exposed to the experience.
