Police can now release the name of the man that died in a crash on Himatangi Block Rd, near Foxton, on Saturday.
He was Antonio Puhia, aged 19, from Lower Hutt.
Foxton Police is continuing to investigate the crash supported by the Serious Crash Unit.
At this stage it is too early to determine what caused the crash.
