The mighty Chiefs Super 15 rugby team need your help and are calling on their fans to support a new campaign.

If you have new and warm sleepwear, singlets and socks for kids then please donate them to 'We Need your PJs” campaign being supported by the Chiefs.

All items will be given to patients at Waikids and families in need upon leaving Waikato Hospital.

Waikato DHB Child Health clinical unit leader Dr Dave Graham welcomes the special partnership between the Chiefs and the DHB.

'When you rush your really sick kid to hospital – and it's often from a long way away – you're not thinking about what you need when you go home, and you can't get home to get them.

'That's where the pyjamas, the singlets and the socks come in, we can help parents get their kids back home warm and getting better. It's helping parents help their kids.”

To make a donation drop off new sleepwear, socks and singlets in any kids sizes to the Chiefs Headquarters.

You can also courier them to Chiefs Rugby, Bisley Road, Ruakura Research Centre, Hamilton before December 19.
