Scott Simpson has won the race for the Coromandel seat tonight, with an overwhelming vote majority.
With 100 per cent of the region's results tallied, Scott secured 20,165 votes, with the Green Party's Catherine Delahunty is second place.
Scott Simpson will keep his Coromandel seat for another parliamentary term.
