A woman is in moderate condition in Tauranga Hospital after sustaining an injury to her leg on the Mount Maunganui main track.
The woman was assisted by Surf Life Saving and Ambulance around 7:30am.
Hato Hone St John was notified of an incident on Mount Maunganui main track at 7.07am.
"We responded with one ambulance," says a Hato Hone St John spokesperson.
"One patient was assessed and transported to Tauranga Hospital in a moderate condition."
