State Highway 2, Takitimu Drive, Tauranga, is closed following a crash.
Police are responding to a two vehicle crash on Takitimu Drive, near the Chapel Street on-ramp, says a police spokesperson.
"The crash was reported around 6.15pm.
"ThesSouthbound lanes are blocked.
"Motorists are advised to take an alternative route where possible."
