Hold on to your Rasta hats all you reggae fans, because the original 'Mr Lover Lover' Shaggy is coming to Tauranga to headline next year's One Love Festival.

Joining the reggae popstar on the bill for the 2018 festival are fellow international acts MAGIC!, Common Kings, Aswad, J Boog, Black Uhuru, Hot Rain featuring Siaosi, Maoli, and Anuhea.

The first line-up announcement also features the best homegrown Kiwi talent and includes House of Shem, 1814, Sons Of Zion, Sammy J, Ardijah, Herbs, Swiss, Foundation, and the Marley New Zealand All Stars.

Presented by Pato Entertainment, it's also been confirmed the 2018 edition of One Love will take place at the Tauranga Domain on Auckland Anniversary weekend, January 27-28, instead of Waitangi Weekend as in previous years.

In true One Love tradition, some of the biggest names in music from around the world have been carefully hand-selected to play at the 2018 festival, says a One Love spokesperson.

'With a reputation as one of Aotearoa's best summer festivals, hosting a relaxed and upbeat vibe that draws punters from all over the globe, tickets to One Love have sold out for the past two years running.

'Stay tuned for the second line-up announcement on August 1, when another big headliner will be revealed, alongside a who's who of talent.”

Along with offering two-day of the best roots, rock and reggae music in the Southern Hemisphere, One Love also offers camping and glamping options for keen festival goers.

One Love 2018 takes place at Tauranga Domain on Auckland Anniversary Weekend, January 21-28.
