State Highway 29a will be closed between Pyes Pa Road and Oropi Road roundabouts every night from 7pm to 1am, starting Tuesday February 7.
The closure will allow major road rehabilitation to take place.
The temporary closures will last approximately one month.
A detour route will be signposted and will run along Cameron Road, Maleme Street and Oropi Road for Maungatapu-bound traffic.
Tauriko-bound traffic will follow the detour from Oropi Road, up Maleme Street, before carrying on to Cameron Road.
Maleme Street will serve as the main part of a detour route.

The already difficult intersection at Maleme Street/Oropi Road will be even more challenging!
