Just Wondering?

The report that a car crashed into another vehicle under the Taipari Street overpass makes me wonder if one of the vehicles was the same vehicle that has been left parked on the side of the motorway at that location the past several days? Everyday I passed I thought "There's an accident waiting to happen".

I am unsure on how no one has crashed into that parked car that has now been there for 2 weeks until today. The police should have had this removed the day it showed under the Maungatapu Bridge - it was an accident just waiting to happen and today, it happened twice. Perhaps the police can start following this kind of thing up with a towaway service for future to keep our roads clear. Don't get me wrong, the Police do a fantastic job but i am 100% sure that one of them would have seen the car there for the past two weeks, just like many of us have

Yes please NewsRoom, can we have followup comment from TransitNZ on policy? That car would certainly have been towed away if it was on a real motorway.
