Details of New Zealand's latest royal visit have been revealed this morning – and once again the Bay of Plenty is missing from the list of destinations.
Prince Charles and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, will visit Wellington, Dunedin, Nelson, Westport, Ngaruawahia, New Plymouth and Auckland next month, from November 4-10.

It's now over 32 years since any member of the Royal Family visited the Western Bay in an official capacity.
More recent visits to the wider region include Queen Elizabeth II's trip to Rotorua in 1995 and the Duke of York, Prince Andrew's stopover in the same city in 2007.
The last time a royal dropped in on Tauranga was April 1983, when Charles and his first wife, Princess Diana, opened Bay Court Community and Arts Centre.
'I am delighted The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are visiting New Zealand,” says Prime Minister John Key.
'It will be the Prince's ninth visit to New Zealand and the Duchess's second.
'During their time here they will visit a number of locations together and separately so there will be plenty of opportunities for New Zealanders to get to see them.”
Charles and Camilla arrive in Wellington on Wednesday November 4, where they will officially be welcomed at Government House, before laying a wreath at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park.
Their itinerary also includes a visit to Turangawaewae Marae, where they will receive a salute from a fleet of waka on the Waikato River, and a food and wine event at the Nelson Market, before a stop in Auckland.

If Rotorua can not get on the list then the chances for Tauranga become microscopic at best.

would all be out trying to rub shoulders and the officials would all be at the head of the pack, all sucking on the ratepayers to scrap a few penny's together to pay for the extravagances of but a few.

It almost makes you want to vote for a change of flag. Maybe not.
