Mouth guards, shin pads and hockey sticks are in full force at Blake Park this morning.

Children of all ages are taking part in Saturday morning hockey.

The aim of hockey is for children to develop skill in a fun way with lots of small games.

People wanting to get themselves or their children involved in hockey can find more information at the Tauranga Hockey Association website.

Most winter sports have just about wrapped up and kids are now getting ready to move into summer codes.
