Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on Wright Road, Aongatete, where a vehicle is reported to have rolled.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says one person was initially reported to be trapped in the vehicle, but SunLive understands the person is now out of the vehicle.

It's unclear what injuries have been sustained in the crash.

Meanwhile, Powerco is reporting a power outage in the Katikati region.

Contractors are working to restore the supply and Powerco reports it hopes to have power returned to affected customers around 11pm.

It's unclear if the power outage is linked to the crash and contractors are investigating the cause.
