Christchurch Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of 36-year-old Dion Ribarev who was last seen in the Hillmorton area of Christchurch at 9pm on September 26.

He is described as European about 169cm tall and slim build with a shaved head.

Police say Dion is known to enjoy walking and it is not uncommon for him to walk long distances. Items of clothing and papers with his name on were located at the Godley Head toilet block earlier on Saturday.

Two recent photographs have been included with this alert – it is not known what clothing he is currently wearing or where he might be heading.

Police and Dion's family have concerns for his wellbeing and ask anyone who has seen him to contact Christchurch Police urgently on 03 363 7400.
