Tauranga raised hockey star Gemma Flynn is reportedly dating All Black Richie McCaw.

The 22-year-old Black Sticks midfielder from Tauranga Girls' College has been dating the 32-year-old Richie for the last six months, reports the NZ Herald.

The pair reportedly met at the London Olympics and spent Christmas together at Ritchie's home in Wanaka.

Gemma made her debut as a 17-year-old playing against Korea in Auckland in 2008 before going on to compete at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Yesterday Gemma was named as part of the Black Sticks Squad that will be traveling to Argentina for a five test series starting February 24.

Gemma currently lives in Auckland where she studies sports science at Massey University.
