Car fire in Te Puke

Investigations are underway into the cause of a car fire in Te Puke.

The Te Puke Volunteer Fire Brigade was called to the fire on Jellicoe Street just before 11pm.

Photos sent to SunLive show the engine bay completely englulfed in flames.

Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the blaze.
