The wet weather is set to continue, with forecasters predicting the rain to stay until at least Thursday.
In the meantime, diligent SunLive readers have been sending in their photos and videos of the flooding in their neck of the woods.
Low-lying Papamoa has fared particularly badly in this bout of rain, although as our previous instalment shows, no one in this usually-sunny city of ours seems to have escaped the weather's wrath.

when are these idiots going to learn. driving through floodwaters at that speed. coming back from waihi i was going slow through about 30 cm of floodwater when two cars came towards me and sprayed water right up and over my car temporarily blinding me. just stupid idiots.
