A pilot in his early 70s has walked away from his plane after it rolled and hit the ground at Pukehina, Bay of Plenty yesterday.
The crash happen before 3pm yesterday and Police told SunLive the man who was in his early 70s sustained only minor injuries.

It was the second light airplane crash within 12 hours of each other another. A plane crashed at the Raglan Airfield yesterday at 11.10am on Norrie Ave.
Reports indicate the pilot also escaped with only minor injuries.

The pilot is ok and he is still young enough to rebuild it and have another go... it looks like a little ripper. Shouldn't be too hard to rebuild. :)They do say, any landing you walk away from is a good landing... well done
