Producer Kylie DellaBarca Steel says most of them [the cast] have had their scripts for about a month.

'Some of them we have just cast in the last week, so they have only had their script for a week.

'Everybody is really excited. We went round and did introductions everyone talked about how they loved the script and the community feel to it.”

'We have two weeks until we start filming on February 19. Anton will do a small rewrite next week based on any feedback received from today.”

Kylie is also busy trying to raise funds for catering through the help of the community and their Boosted campaign.

'We are doing crowd funding where we are trying to reach $10,000 to help cover for the transport and catering costs.

'People can go to www.boosted.org.nz, choose the Z Nail Gang and donate as little as $5.
