Totara Street is closed for works between Hull Road and Kawaka Street from 5am on Saturday, May 11 until 6am on Monday, May 13.
The road surface on the Northern rail level crossing is being improved and train-activated pedestrian gates at both level crossings are being installed.
This work will make these crossings safer for all users. If you're travelling by vehicle, please allow extra time and follow the detours.
