A Katikati Lotto player will be celebrating today after becoming one of five winners to share in Lotto First Division following Saturday night's draw.

They will take away $200,000 after picking up their winning ticket at Katikati Paper Plus and Post Shop.

The other winning tickets were sold at Jellicoe Court Bookstore in Auckland, Pak N Save Clarence Street in Hamilton, Smiths Pharmacy in Feilding and Z Bryndwr in Christchurch.

Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $18 million.

Meanwhile, Strike Four was won by a player in Wellington, who takes home $400,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold on MyLotto.

With temperatures soaring around the country, Kiwis will be heading to their local beach to cool off. Thanks to Lotto players, Surf Life Saving New Zealand and the Coastguard receive vital funding to help keep us safe in the water.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
