Pilot Bay update

One of the five samples taken at Pilot Bay came back with high levels of bacteria. The rest of the samples came back clear.

Warning signs will be put up again as a precaution.

Additional water quality samples will be taken to check bacteria levels in the water. Until the new results are in, people are urged to stay out of the water at Pilot Bay. The warning signs will be removed from the beach once the tests confirm the water poses no health risk.
